Sustainable Mission

Nanka Foundation

Empowering vulnerable communities through sustainable artisan livelihoods, educational resources, and compassionate outreach.

Purpose & Mission Statement

The apparel industry remains one of the world's largest contributors to carbon emissions, toxic wastewater, and landfill waste. While individual brands have launched isolated "sustainable" collections, the industry lacks an integrated, open-source operational model that unifies scientific innovation, production-floor designs, and social responsibility across sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution. The Nanka Foundation merges scientific innovation, garment design, production, and distribution with emphasis on environmental responsibility across the apparel supply chain and life cycle. Headquartered in El Paso, Texas, this foundation, through extensive research will pilot industrial solutions in the United States and Africa to optimize the manufacturing, production and distribution of eco-friendly, sustainable and reusable apparel sold in U.S. commercial markets.
